Turn on previews for an app built from a GitHub repository, and every pull request against its deployed branch gets an isolated copy of the app, built from the pull request's code. Reviewers open a link instead of checking out the branch.
- Each preview lives at its own address, such as
https://my-app-pr-12.cosmoner.app, with HTTPS set up for you. - The pull request shows a commit status and one comment with the link, kept up to date as the preview builds.
- Every push to the pull request rebuilds it, and merging or closing the pull request removes it.
- Secrets are never copied into a preview. When you turn previews on, Cosmoner shows exactly which variables a preview will receive.
Previews are in beta and included at no extra cost for projects with at least one paid app. Turn them on from the app's Overview page. The first time, an owner of your GitHub account approves the Cosmoner app's new permissions, so it can read pull requests and post statuses and comments.
See Pull request previews for the limits and how previews handle environment variables.
