A tier, then your files
Three steps to a website on your domain
No server to manage and no stack to install. Pick a tier, upload your files, and attach the domain.
- 01
Pick a tier and a PHP version
PHP 8.1, 8.2 or 8.3, on a tier that fixes storage, PHP workers and how many domains you can attach. The wizard shows each tier's monthly price before anything is created.
- 02
Upload over SFTP or in the browser
Connect any SFTP client, open a shell over SSH, or use the file manager in the panel. Your hosting gets its own address on cosmoner.com straight away.
- 03
Attach your domains
Point a domain at a folder, add the DNS record the panel shows, and the certificate is issued for you. Add more websites to the same hosting as you go.
What a hosting includes
The hosting you know, without the upsells
Shell access, backups and certificates come with every tier. A higher tier buys capacity, not features.
Several websites on one hosting
One hosting serves its own address, the domains you attach and their subdomains, each from a folder you choose. They share the tier's storage and workers, so a second site costs nothing extra.
Not priced per site
SFTP and SSH on every tier
Use FileZilla, Cyberduck or WinSCP, or a shell for composer, wp-cli and git. Nothing is held back for a higher tier.
Shell included
A file manager and a console
Upload, rename and edit files from the panel, or open the same shell as SSH in your browser — no client and no password needed.
Built into the panel
Nightly backups, restored from the panel
Every hosting is backed up each night, with 7 days kept at no charge. Keep them for 30 or 90 days if you need to, and restore any night with one button.
7 days included
Isolated, on our own hardware
Each hosting runs in its own container, so other customers cannot reach your files or processes. It runs in our own data centre in Stockholm, and your files stay in the EU.
Stockholm, Sweden
PHP the way you expect it
.htaccess works for rewrites, redirects and access rules, OPcache is on, and uploads up to 64 MB are accepted, so PHP applications and frameworks run without changes.
PHP 8.1 – 8.3
Folders and domains
Every address you attach gets a folder
Your hosting has one home folder, and each domain is served from a folder inside it. Only a folder that an address points at is served, so configuration files next to public_html stay private.
- Attach a domain and its folder is created for you, or point it at a folder you already have.
- Subdomains of your own domains are attached the same way, and any folder can be turned into one from the file manager.
- A domain can also redirect, with a 301 or a 302, or show a placeholder until its site is ready — without changing DNS.
$ ls ~example.com/ mysites.cosmoner.com/ tmp/$ ls ~/example.compublic_html/ shop/ config.php# config.php is never served

One project
What it plugs into
A hosting is billed on the project's subscription alongside everything else you run, behind the same roles.
What it costs
A tier — never a per-site line
One monthly price for the tier you picked, whatever number of sites it serves and however much traffic they get.
- The hosting
- from USD 3 / month
- One monthly price per tier, covering storage, PHP workers and memory, and the domains you can attach. Every website on the hosting is included.
- Bandwidth
- Not metered
- No traffic line on any tier, so a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.
- 7 days of backups
- Included
- Nightly, on every tier. Longer retention and extra storage are optional add-ons, priced in the wizard and in the docs.
- SFTP, SSH and certificates
- Included
- Shell access and a certificate for every attached domain come with every tier.
Every tier shows its monthly price in the setup wizard. Extra storage and longer backup retention are listed on the web hosting pricing page in the docs.
Questions worth answering up front
Folders, domains, uploads and backups are covered in the Web Hosting guide.
- How many websites can I run?
- As many as fit in the tier. One hosting serves its own address, the domains you attach and their subdomains, all sharing the tier's storage and PHP workers. What the tier limits is how many domains you attach, not how many sites you build.
- What is a PHP worker?
- How many PHP requests run at the same time. Further requests wait for a free worker, so if your sites slow down under traffic, a higher tier adds workers and memory straight away.
- Can I use plain FTP?
- No. FTP sends your password in the clear, so only SFTP is offered — every common FTP client also speaks SFTP. Connect to sftp.cosmoner.com on port 2022.
- Can I change tier later?
- Yes, from the hosting's page. New PHP workers, memory and domain limits apply straight away. The disk size is set when the hosting is created, and extra storage can be added on top of it at that point.
- Where do my files live?
- On Cosmoner's own hardware in Stockholm, Sweden, and the nightly backups are stored in the EU too.
