Between 22 and 27 August, signing in to an existing Cosmoner account could fail even with the correct password. The sign-in page reported the same message it shows for a wrong password, which made the fault look like a forgotten or mistyped one.
Signing in with GitHub was affected the same way: the account you had already connected was no longer recognised at the sign-in screen.
Creating a new account failed over the same window, with an error rather than a completed sign-up. If you tried to register during it, no half-made account was left behind — sign up again and it will go through.
This has been fixed. Sign in as you normally would.
What you need to do
Nothing. No account was changed, deleted or locked, and no password needs resetting — accounts were unreachable for the duration, not altered. If you reset your password while trying to get back in, that new password is the one to use now.
Anyone invited to an admin account during that window can sign in once the invite link is used, as normal.
What was not affected
Your projects, apps, databases and other resources ran throughout — this only touched signing in to the control panel. Deployed applications, API keys and anything already running were untouched, as were sessions that were already open.
