Sign in with GitHub

Use GitHub to sign in to Cosmoner, and connect it to an existing account so you can use either method.

You can now sign in to Cosmoner with GitHub. The option appears on both the login and sign-up pages, alongside email and password.

If you already have a Cosmoner account and its email address matches your verified GitHub email, signing in with GitHub attaches it to that account automatically — your projects, team memberships, and billing stay exactly where they are, and both sign-in methods keep working.

If the two addresses differ — for example, you signed up with a work address but your GitHub account uses a personal one — connect GitHub from Account → Profile → Connected accounts instead. Linking from there attaches GitHub to the account you are already signed in to, so the addresses do not need to match. Signing in with GitHub before you have connected it would create a separate, empty account.

Connecting is reversible: the same page disconnects GitHub again. If GitHub is your only sign-in method, set a password first via the password reset link, so you never lose access to your account.
